Which event?
Second Event
Okay, today we had Guards v.s. Assassins. This poll is to decide what our next event will be. Note that Guards and Assassins has been removed. Next time, Guards and Assassins and whichever is chosen this poll will be removed, and so on.

Presenting: The Javalry Course

The race begins at the long white line and ends at the little white line below the three arrows. Of course there can be several laps, one lap ends at the three arrows.

Right after the start comes the perhaps trickiest part of the race: This bridge isn't easy with a Courser, but it's nearly impossible with anything else. Falling down results in a disqualification from the race for this round.

After the bridge, the players will have to take a couple of sharp curves in this little Nord village. Do not try to jump over the barrier, or you'll find yourself on a horse rearing up because it hit an invisible wall :p

Another tricky part comes after the village: In this forest, the direct path might not be the shortest.

And as if the forest wasn't enough, another couple of sticks and stones slow you down on this part of the road. Ride around it or jump, whatever you think saves the most time!

This next part of the course isn't full of stuff, however, you're riding up a hill which will slow you and your opponents down - making it easier for everyone to hit with their javelins, so be careful!

As you probably guessed, now that you're up the damn mountain again, you'll have to cross the river again. This bridge is easier than the first one, however. Hey, there can be easy parts, too :p

After the bridge there'll be some more trees and stuff on the road to slow you down, but the finish is near!

The last part of the map is easy to ride on, but expect your followers to throw a javelin right in your horses butt here, for only a couple of you are probably still alive, and they won't let you pass the three arrows before them!

If you fell down one of the bridge, you can get back up by the way. You are not allowed to join the race again however, so you might as well commit suicide - or just walk up and enter one of the watch towers to see the others winning :p

No can do. It's near impossible to create anything that instantly kills anyone.
Falling down reduces the health of the horse by around 75%, and getting back up takes a very long time. But instant death sadly wasn't possible.

Insta-death seems to me to only be possible if you create a (very silly looking) huge pit which then teleports + insta kill.

My mod has throwing weapons disabled and no fall damage by default. If you want to run my mod during the event, I'll have to cook up some custom files. But let me know in time please, I'll be away for about 2 weeks from august 1st.

There is a bit confusion if it's actually allowed to kill other racers... would it be possible to set damage to others = 0 but keep the damage to horses on?
Speaking of which, damage to other players = 0 would be very practical in duel training. For example blocking and chamberblocking!

Not exactly, but I can make it so players automagically get healed when they get hit. I already have a mini mod for exactly that purpose! Sometimes people still die from 1 hit kills though, even after reducing all weapons damage to 25 and removing speed boni. Do you guys still have the map? It's not on my new PC, and my old one is completely screwed now, so I'd have to re-do it if you don't have it, which I'd need to know in time.
