What's sad is that this is an independent label that has produced this, and it is actually serious.
I managed to listen to the whole thing, and it gave me a headache. Whenever you hear an awful song, just be glad that it's not this. Unless it is this, in which case: use your rectifier.

What the hell is she singing about? I listened to the whole thing as well, and at first all I could think was: "who the fuck cares!". She's waking up, eating cereal, going to bus stop... yawn. And in the end it just keeps on going and going, "partying, partying, YEAH!, partying, partying, YEAH!, fun fun fun fun"... OMG!!! Shut up, that has to be the worst lyrics ever

I don't think any song has connected with me in quite the same way as this, that's pretty much the exact order which Thursday and Friday go in!!!
I think every one of us when confronted with only one possible seat to sit in has had the tough dilemma between 'Kickin' in the front seat ' and 'Sittin' in the back seat'. I mean, it's so god-damned confusing.

At the end of it, google actually served me with some ads for a cure for psoriasis. Luckily I didn't need it yet, but be careful when listening to this song. I think prolonged exposure to it may lead to weird skin conditions, kinda like ionizing radiation.

No, Alex. This is just yet another pop song. I don't even see what's special about it. Music that is none with lyrics that are none, just like any Lady Gaga song (whatever the real name of that woman is).

After reading the harsh reviews of her song, Black said that "those hurtful comments really shocked me". Ark Music offered to take the video down from YouTube, but Black refused the offer, saying that she did not wish "to give the haters the satisfaction that they got me so bad I gave up".
In response to criticism over the liberal use of Auto-Tune, Black announced plans to release an acoustic version of the song. She performed this acoustic version during an interview with ABC News. Later in the interview Black's mother, Kelly, stated that she was "angry and upset" after Black was brought to tears by comments such as "I hope you go cut [yourself] and die" and "'I hope you cut yourself, and I hope you'll get an eating disorder so you'll look pretty." However Black said that she soon got over such comments. She also went on to make an on-camera request for her idol Justin Bieber to perform a duet with her.
Rolling Stone's Matthew Perpetua continued to praise Black after the interview, stating that "she is actually a pretty decent singer... she is a total sweetheart...[and] Black comes off as a well-adjusted, happy and grateful kid". He also pointed out Black's intention to donate most of the profits from the song to school arts programs and relief efforts in Japan following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
Simon Cowell told People Magazine of his praise of Black, saying: "I love her [and] the fact that she's gotten so much publicity. People are so upset about the song, but I think it's hysterical." Also adding "I want to meet her. Anyone who can create this much controversy within a week, I want to meet. I love people like that."
One criticism of the music video is that the (possibly underage) operator and passengers of the motor vehicle are clearly depicted as not wearing seat belts, in violation of California law. This is widely regarded as a hazardous practice.

The slow version sounds like some native american / aboriginie / maori tribes music. Thats the kinda stuff I hear when Im lying drunk under my bed. Chiiiiill.
